Pampered Tails
Pampered Tails began in 2005, with a vision and a passionate love for animals. We work with pets of all ages, including elderly dogs, rescue dogs, and handicapped dogs.
Your pet will be in a stress-free environment with the most highly trained groomers. Our goal is to offer the best service to your pet and to guarantee the time and love your pet deserves. We will work one-on-one with you and your pet to make sure that we satisfy your grooming needs. For your convenience, we offer a spa salon and mobile vans to come to your home, office, or hotel.
Our vans are diesel and are the most eco-friendly grooming vans on the market, using a hybrid battery system that provides the energy for 80% of the time of the grooming session, this time is silently outside your home, also with the generator providing the rest, we won't need to plug into your house. They have a special system for deep cleaning, hot water, and a top-of-the-line air conditioning system.
Our Salon has been designed with the goal of grooming your pet in the shortest time possible, without compromising the security and health of your pet. We have ergonomic, stainless steel tubs, with visibility to all grooming areas from beginning to end. We work on your pet the entire time, without cage-drying your pet. We will find the right speed and heat for a fluffy or straight cut with our variable temperature & speed hand dryers.

The Owner
Nelson Quintero was born in Caracas, Venezuela. The inspiration for Pampered Tails started in 1998 when he adopted his dog, Trinity, in Caracas, Venezuela. Thanks to her, he found the love that people can feel for their pets. Trinity went with him everywhere – walking, hiking, and running.
When Nelson moved to the US in 2002, he had to leave Trinity behind with his family. Although he was heartbroken, he was able to put his love for Trinity into the new doggie relationships that he started when he began his dog grooming career. He dedicates his company and his success to Trinity, may she rest in peace.
After years of adaptation and learning techniques from different grooming salons, he bought his first mobile grooming van and started Pampered Tails in 2005.
Nelson began hiring and training his groomers from scratch, and Pampered Tails grew to be one of the biggest mobile pet grooming companies in Los Angeles. In 2015 he opened a state-of-the-art grooming salon to train more new groomers in a comfortable learning environment. Nelson’s dream is to raise the standard of training of groomers in Los Angeles.
In his free time, Nelson enjoys grooming his Old English Sheepdog, Ansel, who is the Pampered Tails' official mascot. You’ll often find him and his wife camping, snowboarding, mountain bike riding, and traveling. He lives in West LA with his wife, 2 kids and Ansel.
